Playing together

Invite your friends with a code. Everyone plays their turn when they can.

1

Invite your friends

Every table has its invitation code, with a link to share. Send it by message, or read it out loud: it is made to be easy to say.

The code works until the story begins. Anyone you send it to can take a seat.

2

Before it starts

Your friends read what the story is about, then create their character. Everyone sees who is ready, never what the others wrote.

When everyone is ready, the person who opened the table starts the story. Two, four, more: each story suggests a number of players, you decide.

3

Everyone at the same time

No waiting in line: everyone writes their action at the same time, in any order. The turn is played once everyone has written, or when the table decides to move on.

Nobody puts words in the mouth of an absent friend: their character is still there, silent. Going away for a while? Say so, and the table knows.

4

Each with your own view

Characters can split up and live different scenes during the same turn. Each player receives the story as their character lived it.

What your character knows is not what everyone knows. Share it, or keep it: that is where the story gets interesting.

5

Or on your own

Every story can be played alone, with the same pleasure and the same rules. Invite friends later, for the next one.

The best way to understand is to play.
